چکیده

GOAL is a multi-agent programming language based on the BDI paradigm. It is a logic-based language that supports modular agent design based on established software engineering principles and interaction with environments using an environment interface standard (EIS). GOAL recently won the Multi-Agent Programming Contest (MAPC), where two teams consisting of ten agents play against each other in order to explore and defend occupied territory on a distant planet. The MAPC game is a complex and dynamic environment that supports EIS and thus facilitates easy connection of a multi-agent system to an environment that is remotely run. We describe the design of the multi-agent solution that won the competition, the EIS interface that was used, and the MAPC scenario.

A decentralized multi-level leader-follower game for network design of a competitive supply chain

This paper develops a decentralized leader-follower game for network design of a competitive supply chain problem in which a new chain as the leader enters a market with one existing supply chain as a follower. Both chains produce an identical product, customer demand is inelastic and customer utility function is based on Huff gravity-based model. The leader wants to shape his network and set a...

Agent Learning using Action-Dependent Learning Rates in Computer Role-Playing Games

We introduce the ALeRT (Action-dependent Learning Rates with Trends) algorithm that makes two modifications to the learning rate and one change to the exploration rate of traditional reinforcement learning techniques. Our learning rates are action-dependent and increase or decrease based on trends in reward sequences. Our exploration rate decreases when the agent is learning successfully and in...

روش‌های مدل‌سازی تطوری در اقتصاد (با تاکید بر عناصر مشترک سازنده آنها)

In this paper we have tried mention to some sort of thewell-known evolutionary modeling approaches in economic territory such as Multi Agent simulations, Evolutionary Computation and Evolutionary Game Theory. As it has been mentioned in the paper, in recent years, the number of Evolutionary contributions applied to Multi-Agent models increased remarkably. However until now there is no consensus...

An interactive weighted fuzzy goal programming technique to solve multi-objective reliability optimization problem

This paper presents an application of interactive fuzzy goal programming to the nonlinear multi-objective reliability optimization problem considering system reliability and cost of the system as objective functions. As the decision maker always have an intention to produce highly reliable system with minimum cost, therefore, we introduce the interactive method to design a high productivity sys...

A multi-product green supply chain under government supervision with price and demand uncertainty

In this paper, a bi-level game-theoretic model is proposed to investigate the effects of governmental financial intervention on green supply chain. This problem is formulated as a bi-level program for a green supply chain that produces various products with different environmental pollution levels. The problem is also regard uncertainties in market demand and sale price of raw materials and pro...
